We went with a group for lunch. The portions were standard Alaska portions, one meal could have served the four of us. I brought the rest home and ate for the rest of the weekend. Food was DELICIOUS! Overlook the "OMG, we're not eating at a chain restaurant where the decor is paramount to food quality" and enjoy a delicious cooked from scratch meal. Don't go if you are hoping for lunch from order to completion in 30 minutes; this isn't the place for that. Go if you like unique-to-Fairbanks, off the beaten path dining. Good food Convenient. Warm, clean, friendly. I had the Great Big Cheeseburger and it was cooked the way I like it. They didnt have fries at that time but they had cheese grits and thats worth the price of admission all by itself.
