Nice campground in the middle of Fairbanks next to river with access. Tent and RV camping with a few pads with electric and water. No black water sewage at pads but they do have a dump station. The only complaint is that traffic is loud and Fairbanks Airport approach is almost over the campground. However it very convenient being next to a Safeway and other retailers. Once in the campground, if you're lucky to get a site away from the roads, you really feel like you're on the outskirts of the city. Bring mosquito repellent! Surroundings are nice, host seems eager to do his job best he can. Did notice the homeless/sketchy people talked about previously, but not enough to keep us away. Is in the path of airport landings, thank goodness the airport isn't that busy and seems to shut down at night. Electric/Water sites are few, but we managed to get one. No reservations, first come, first serve. I'd use it again. Caught up on some much needed sleep. Other than airlines flying over it was really nice. Have a picnic play some volley ball also a decent place to camp in the middle of town. Attended an office function here. It was an excellent location! Clean facilities, nice and quiet. I can't believe I hadn't been here before!
