You deleted my last review so I'll post it again. If I could give 0 stars I would. Before Christmas I was minding my own business shopping for gifts for my daughter and suddenly an employee walks by and not so quietly calls in asset protection in on me. Because apparently spending my hard earned money at this establishment is just too suspicious. It must be totally foreign for employees to actually see people shopping in their empty and badly stocked location. I bought my items, but I won't be back. Sears still has Craftsman tools, but build quality has gone down. Sears was the place to go back in the day. Department stores are struggling. It was great to see everyone again. Purchased many Christmas presents there and promptly left the state for vacation. My brother tried to return his gift as he didn't want it and they said they couldn't without a receipt. No biggie, Upon my return i made the trek down there with the receipt and the items still unopened in the box and they would not honor a return on the items at 32 days past purchase. As an owner of multiple successful businesses in this small town I know what it takes to continue being successful. Bottom line I may be out $350 which I will donate and write off on my taxes but sears will be out tens of thousands of dollars because one of my businesses is flipping houses and I used to purchase all my appliances from them however; lowes and home depot will be getting that business from now on. I can completely understand why it is a ghost town every time I step foot in there. I like it here. Always good sales.
