I was not impressed by the sushi, especially considering the price. Each of the 4 rolls we bought had a bizarre taste and our oh my god tasted like nail remover liquid. Gross and won't return. Staff was great though. I've been to this restaurant a handful of times with varying experiences. Overall, I give it two stars. They have a great vegan rolls available, thought not much else is vegan. This restaurant is too expensive. I ordered a salad there the last time I went and the dressing that came with it was some mayonnaise based dressing that literally just tasted like mayonnaise. It was disgusting and it came ON the salad instead of on the side. Even if I wasn't vegan, I think I would have still be disappointed. The customer service is also poor. The waitresses passed the table several times and never refilled my water glass. I won't be going back. My wife and i always go here when we are on this side of the town. Food and service are always great! Always leaving this place satisfied! This time we got the chicken katsu and bento box dinner A. Price is good for the food!!! Delicious rainbow roll. Great service. Prices are pretty decent for Fairbanks. Would go again. My mother order the chicken tonkastu and it doesn't taste like traditional tonkastu you order in Japan. She knows because she lived their for 3 years. My Dolson Bimbimbat bowl had burned spinach and burned rice in it. They were nice about it though as they took some of the meals off the price. Our waitress was nice and fast with our food.
