Stopped by for a quick drink. The service was great. Tammy was super friendly, made us feel super welcome. Met some fun people at the bar. All in all a great experience! Outstanding buffet for Thanksgiving. The seafood crepes were magnificent, and the dessert table was top shelf. Friendly staff and the owner was carving ham and prime rib at the end of the buffet line. Will definately be back. Pike's brunch has been a Sunday tradition when my family comes to town. Up until this year no complaints about food or service. This year proved the exception. The buffet was not up to it's standards of the past, for example, rubbery scrambled eggs, tasteless stuffed eggs, & poorly seasoned hot dishes. The dessert buffet was, as always, delicious. The service was terrible--our waiter disappeared after we settled in nowhere to be found for over 15 minutes--we even asked the hostess to find him for us. The other waiter in our area, but not our waiter, refused to look our way when we tried to signal him. My grandkids wanted to order soft drinks to go with their meal, I wanted coffee to go with dessert, & I wanted more water. Our plates piled up on the table & still no waiter to clear. Our waiter finally made an appearance as we were finishing up. He was not congenial. Not a good show & not expected of Pike's. Also, when did Pike's start charging $10 to play miniature golf after brunch? Big disappointment. One of the better high end restaurants in town. They have a good Sunday Brunch. The brunch was good but service past lunch time is not great at all. Staff was not very friendly the second time i went in and no one even noticed my party walked in the door and waited about ten minutes to get help. And once we sat down waited a good 20 mins for a waiter, 10 mins to get water. Finally after all that we had to leave due to poor service and very short on staff.
