Sicily’s Pizza is by far the worst, most disrespectful pizza place I have ever *tried* to order from. I cannot even begin to express how rude and incompetent the staff is. Apparently, a pizza takes 2 hours and 30 minutes to get delivered when you live just a few minutes away. After the first hour, during the first call, a person named Sarah told us the delivery was on its way then immediately hung up on us. After the second hour, we called and when asked to speak to a manger, we were hung up on once again so we called back. We were told the manager would give me a call. During the wait for the manger to call, the pizza delivery man appeared asking for $45.00 when our order was $22.79. We refused, as any pizza that takes 2 and a half hours to deliver is honestly not worth paying for. The delivery man, George, told us “fine, you don’t want pizza then I leave” and left with our pizza. As soon as he left I called Sicily’s to make a complaint about our experience for obvious reasons. I was told that George, “delivery” guy, told his manager that we paid and took the pizza. I told them that did not happen and their delivery man is a lie and a thief for trying to charge us $20 more than our order. (I have the confirmation email) I asked to be transferred to the manger, (which finally happened after 10 minutes) and she said her driver told her that we didn’t pay, but instead argued it be free and that we then chased him out to his car to get the pizza. GAPCO, when you open 24/7 let me know We were visiting Fairbanks from New York and craving a good pizza, their vegetarian pizza was DELICIOUS and well garnished !! We loved it !! and the owner was such a nice person, we definitely recommend stoping there if you want a good pizza! We ordered pizza online asking for pesto pizza and the online order kept telling us there was marinara on there, which is not what we wanted. As soon as i sent the order i called to see what they had for our order and they confirmed it was ALL pesto sauce. When we got the order there was pesto and marinara sauce mixed. Not a good combo. We called to ask for a remake and was told they were sending it out, one hour later nothing. When i called the manager to ask for a refund she told me i needed the first pizza to exchange for a new one and would not refund anything. She told me she didn't want my business but was happy to take my money. She finally said she will refund it but i took the pizza back to her and had to watch her give me a refund since she didnt the first time she was supposed to. All In All service was not good, pizza not good, and if you need a refund you wont get it unless you have the whole pizza back in there hands. Will not be ordering from them again. Oh did i mention there call center it's nowhere close to there business. Pizza is pretty good the veggie comes heavy with toppings which I love. My kids love their cinnamon sticks. We have ordered from Sicily's several times and the delivery is generally very quick. I suggest ordering online because they offer a discount. Terrible terrible terrible. We ordered 2 pizzas and one of them was supposed to have jalapenos on half. When they delivered they had split up all the extra toppings we had added. And when we called and complained they said that we were wrong and that's the way we had placed the order and there is nothing they can do about it. Never ordering from them again. And you shouldn't either.
