So cute and cozy! I had the meatloaf sandwich which was incredible! The fries and potato salad were fantastic too. My wife had the roast beef and she really liked it. I also had the veggie soup which was so delicious and warming. We were visiting out of state, wish we lived closer because we'd go here all the time. Lovely place! Pleasant, bright environment. Friendly staff. Good food. Reasonable prices. This is one of my favorite places to eat out in Fairbanks. Place is good, prim rib chicken fried steak is where it's at! Good coffee, but the OJ served here is a little upsetting. Let's step it up a notch and serve some real Orange Juice. Orange juice from concrete only does OK when made as a screw driver. As for my OJ with breakfast Simply Orange or Tropicana... That to expensive or what? The food and service were quality. I think it is a bit over hyped. I avoid it at peak hours, especially brunch timeframe on the weekends, because it is a bit of a drive for us and waits can can exceed fifteen minutes, which I don't love. Also, if your waiter offers to take care of the check instead of taking it to the register, let them! We were trying to get out of the way so they could bus our table and said we had no problem cashing out at the register. We ended up behind folks cashing out and buying from their bakery and spent another ten minutes after our meal waiting to pay.... Food was good, service was top notch, the woman running the cash register was lost. Understand you need to start somewhere but at least know when to ask for help!
