Spirit of Alaska helped my family buy a home when it was really important and we needed them. Over the past five years they have also helped us with auto loans. Good bank! I have gone there twice and both time to me they seemed very rude to me. The second time I went they told me that there was not a fee for shared branching and on my account after that that small transaction there was a $5 fee. This credit union is the most personable institution Ive ever done business with. You cant find this type of interaction much these days! Truly a class act, no stuffy bank attitude there! They made me feel like a person and not an account number. Great, friendly credit unions. I've been a member for years and find Spirit of Alaska and excellent choice if you are looking for a friendly, service oriented financial institutions. They have a full line of services. You won't be disappointed.
