This B & B is a funky but amazing place to stay while you are in Fairbanks. The whole house drips with history and you can't help but feel yourself getting sucked back in time as you look around. Each room is totally unique, but enjoyable. Some of the rooms can be a little small, but still quite worth the experience. Also you get a homemade breakfast seemed each morning in the dining room. My only real complaint is that some of the furniture could use a little TLC to tighten up some wobbly joints etc. Very nice house build in 1916 and very well maintained and registered in national history for preservation. They tell you a bit about the original owner and the house which was very nice to know. The breakfast is really good and some of my friends staying with us were vegeterian and they did try to make something or the other for them as well. Rooms are vintage with a big tub and old chain style toilets. Overall a pleasant experience. This place is great. My wife and I stayed here. We had an early morning trip plan and could not make breakfast so they made us snack sacks. The snack sacks were fantastic. The hospitality was fantastic. About the house and rooms it was be beyond expectation. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Relaxing. Enjoyed the interior design and history of said site. Would like to have more information 're. Owner/builder of said property. Would like to have seen flowers surrounding said site. Pleasant and informative personnel. Hope to return in near future. Quaint rooms within culturally rich dwelling, basic amenities, pleasant breakfast, and start. We enjoyedthe Garden Room for a couple nights celebrating a special occasion and appreciated their accommodation of my requests upon arrival. The tub/shower was very small, yet not too much of an issue for me. Thanks! Best, ~S
