People who run it are great. It does needs TLC though. If you love seclusion then this place affords a lot of it since there is brush between sites. I am more partial to wide open spaces and think the entire grounds needs to be cleared of brush; many sites are not wide enough for RV to clear the debris. Lots of mosquitoes but pretty common in AK. You have to park in the NE corner of the grounds to pick up the wifi but my laptop wouldn't connect to it for some reason. Rust is in the water so before you get there, fill up at the Sourdough gas station on Van Horn and Lathrop...on the back side there is a water spigot; bring your own water hose and the water is free to fill up (so I was told by someone else filling up) Good campground but too close to main highway for my liking. Always hospitable. Showers are warm. Get used to a bit of rust in the water Rustic campsites, some with W/P/S. Since we are on the road to Prudhoe Bay there are often trucks going past. Nice people, not well kept at the sites but, showers and laundry are spotless.
