Nice and large shop that sells and services Harleys, BMW motorcycles and a couple of other brands. I went there when I was passing through Fairbanks after about half of a 10,000 km ride through western Canada and Alaska because my F 800 GS had electrical issues. Unfortunately, the service people did not have time to look at my bike because they were swamped with other work. Probably not a place to go unannounced and expect help. Best to get an appointment. Alex and Brad provided fast, effective service! I went to the dealership this summer on a long tour of Alaska and Canada and was thoroughly disappointed. This a multi-brand dealership with Harley Davidson as the primary brand. The staff was rude and confrontational from my first entering the dealership. I was there to get a front tire on my BMW motorcycle and was treated poorly. The parts staff was hostile to me. Confronting me about the type of tire I needed. After several attempts to explain they finally listened and found the correct part. Then on to service for more hostility. Comments ranged from "we shouldn't have to work on BMWs," to this is to old to work on, to it is too dirty." They finally took my bike into the shop and tried to mount the front tire. After 3 hours I was getting nervous and up set as to what was taking them so long. All I got was excuses and it should be done soon. 6 hours later and they finally got the tire to set the bead. I paid my bill and left. I would recommend that you stay away from this dealership for any service on your BMW motorcycle. If you are riding a Harley Davidson and you have lots of tattoos and attitude, you should find yourself right at home. It is a shame that the previous owner sold out to these morons. STAY AWAY and BE THANKFUL YOU DID!!! Great service and knowledgable staff. I was treated like a VIP at the farthest north BMW motorcycle dealership in North America. We love hearing from all the folks that have come by our dealership and had a blast with us... Travelers from around the world swing through our northernmost BMW Motorcycle Dealership. We love helping get people out the door and back on the road to adventure. We'd like you to get in touch with us to help you make your plans for your trip to Alaska. We're way up here at the top of the world... so some planning is important. We've got your tires, you don't need to haul tires through Canada. What a PITA. But it is a good idea to call and reserve some if you have certain tires you want... i.e. Heidenau K-60 Scouts, TKC80's, Karoos, for raging the Dalton Highway. We do our best to schedule for travelers but at high times it really becomes necessary to do work on a first come basis for basic services... oil changes and tire swaps. If you need a major factory interval service, you should probably call us and give us a heads up. We want to make the experience unforgettable for you, but please be aware that we see several hundred motorcycle tourists each summer, and then see snow all winter. So keep in mind that our guys are giving up much of the best riding of the year to be here keeping you on the road. We do it because we love it. Shoot me an email and I'll help you plan your trip! Cheers, Justin Trail's End BMW Fairbanks, Alaska
