Was in a jam some months back. Called and got a bouquet made on their day off. Wonderful service. I am very disappointed. I paid for a $75 arrangement and another $25 for delivery. They were supposed to deliver them on Wed. after 6:00, but I told them to call because I wasn't sure she would be home from work. I called and was told that they had been delivered which was a LIE!!! They did not call until after they had tried to deliver and she was not home. So she has to go pick them up (call first to make sure they are available) tomorrow. And I still have to pay for delivery because they "did deliver them". Never again!!! Worse experience ever!!! I ordered flowers from their site online and said I wanted the flowers to be delivered that same day. It was a surprise gift for a friend. I called my friend at the end of the day and asked if she had gotten anything she said no! I called A Blooming Rose and she said "Oh I haven't checked the online site" I was like what??? what kind of a business are you running? She apolozied and asked if they could be delivered first thing in the morning! I said yes that would be great! My friend just emailed me like am I to wait for whatever is getting delivered it's 2:46 pm with no delivery in sight. I called the lady again and she said yes yes he's out delivering!!! I tell you what!!! I'll NEVER order from this place again!!! And for a local business to treat a local this way it's word of mouth form!!! Flowers from this store-great. Customer service-very disatisfied. My husband who is overseas asked my mom to send me flowers for Valentines Day because he hadnt been able to. She checked a few places in town and settled on this one and placed the order. Valentines Day was Tuesday. Tuesday at 8 pm she received a phone call saying they would be delivered the next day because of a delay in flowers they were receiving, and my mom in turn called me to let me know to be home the next day. I tried calling them the next day (it took 1/2 hour for anyone to answer their phone) and told them that I would be home between 1 and 5 if they could deliver then, and they said that was fine. I was home between 1245 and 545 and no flowers. I called at 5 to find out what was going on and was told that they were going to contact the delivery driver and call me back. No call back. I called several times between 530 and 545 and had no answer. At that point I had to leave my house. The next morning I drove to the store to find out what was going on. The lady there called the driver and the driver said they tried to deliver the flowers the previous day and were there at the shop. I took them and left. I talked to my mom later and found out there was suppose to be a teddy bear with the arrangement. I checked and discovered that it was missing and drove back to the shop. I went back in to find out where the bear was and she said she didnt have anything in the paperwork for the order about a stuffed animal. I looked at the little bit of paperwork she did have and discovered that they had tried making 2 deliveries, and asked her when they tried. She of course didnt know and said they probably tried on Valentines Day, which makes no sense at all according to the phone conversation she had with my mom on Valentines Day. She didnt have any bears but said I could have the bumble bee she had. I was done with the whole situation and didnt feel like discussing it any more, so I took it and left. My biggest complaint about this whole situation was their customer service. If they really made 2 delivery attempts, why was there no phone call or no note on my door to say they had been by. If they had truly been by and left a note, I would have gladly picked it up at their shop, but there was no communication. I hope they dont treat all their customers like this. We normally use a different florist in town, but my mom didnt know when ordering. I know now that I will never use their service again. Very nice and worked with me when I needed something special.
