I buy at Northland because the people working there know all about materials and construction. I don't get that deer in the headlights look like I do at the box stores when I ask questions. Also, I like being able to pull up next to a unit of lumber and loading it instead of trying to weave between people with lumber on a cart and then loading onto my trailer. Its nice being able to save some money on rough cut and pick up kiln dried lumber at the same time. There's plenty of space to manuever the truck and trailer and I can take my strapping down my load. Friendly staff, locally milled lumber, Best price on firewood. Keep local businesses alive and visit them.
