An interesting place with lots of things to do in the area. The hot spring is refreshing and nice especially in cold weather. Also, the ice sculptures inside the ice hotel are beautiful. I definitely recommend going inside the ice hotel for a tour and a drink, as it is a unique experience. Furthermore, the restaurant had great options and good portions paired with some good beer. This place is a over priced dive! Sorry but true.The hot springs I remember is long gone. The pool was clear and you was greeted at the front not asked to leave. I think a open minded owner could do so much better. But I love going there damn you front desk pool guy. You my friend suck at customer service. Should try cleaning the pool and hot tubs. Great food, awesome Alaskan experience. All of the staff is fantastic and friendly. Everything has a slightly dingy and rundown appearance, so if that bothers you... you're gonna miss out. Frosty did a great job for a 30 massage. I love every single thing about this place. I did not stay here but this resort needs at least half a day for the hot springs, ice museum tour, restaurant and other things nearby. The ice museum is awesome, don't forget to try the appletini in the ice glass. The hot springs are so relaxing, you would forget the time inside the pool. No need to worry about the weather, I went in when it was -20F and still loved it. I'd recommend taking your own swim suits and towels, if not you can rent them. Don't forget to have few quarters with you for the lockers, you would need them! Overall, this place has much room for improvements but it's a great experience. Interesting site. Loved the runway and the planes. The office staff would be more knowledgeable if they actually knew the layout of the RV spots. We encountered one that didn't. The restaurant was a long wait, which we would have understood if the host had taken time to say that they were short staffed, rather than us discover on our own. Didn't see the hot springs, thought it was a bit odd to go through the pool, but maybe next time.
