This is a flat trail at the beginning and then there are many steep climbs. The trails are well kept wide and accessible. Bring a lunch to the top as the rocks are a perfect spot to rest and have a picnic. There are gorgeous views of the mountains around and the river below. Love this hike! Plan to spend a few hours on the trail, pack lunch to eat on top of the rocks. Good for hiking in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter. Dogs welcome, but please keep them on-leash. A few hour hike and a few miles down from the hot springs awesome place to spend a weekend Yes! If you're going to go, plan a full day and be willing to make it all the way to the top. Don't short sell yourself on this one, it's a few miles of a hike but it is totally worth it once you get to the cave. There is also some rock climbing for the experienced and the novice, a great place to let the kids jump around on the rocks. Such a nice place to spend hiking on the weekends!! Its got a creek and Beauitiful board walk straight through the terrain. Then when you get to the top the rock structures blow your mind.
