Nice place to wander around in if you have free time. The park is beautiful and it is very clean. The view from the bridge is nice too. One of our last stops in Alaska and this place was not good, the area has a lot of graffiti, a lot of homeless and a lot of people just walking down the street screaming at themselves. Do not waste your time stopping by this area. Only place worth visiting in Fairbanks that we found was the Visitor Center and even there we found homeless bathing in the bathrooms Very nice and quiet. Windy when we were there Nice place in the summer, love the events they have here in the summer and winter. We definitely enjoy the Midnight Sun Festival, Iditarod, and much more. It's a nice little place in the heart of Fairbanks with an awesome statue
