Fred Meyer, and other local grocers, have cheaper prices on some items. Sometimes meats and seafood for example. Customer service desk is average. I concluded, after 20+ visits, to expect the unexpected. Some employees will see that you are taken care of, and others will not. Recent experience (customer service desk): an electronic device was purchased a few days before a price reduction. I returned two days later for a refund on the difference. I had a Sam's Club electronic receipt of the item (not the original printed version), and they did not refund the difference due to "not having my receipt". I ensured I was within store policy before asking for a refund on the price difference. No refund given. Positive experience: electronic, meat and bakery employees have ALWAYS been helpful. Keep it up!! Good cheaper food but not drink but good deal with me Purchased tires at a great price. However, the manager could only complain about NOT being able to retain workers in tires because they fail drug tests. I got in at 9:30am and was told by 12 noon it'd be done. At 2:40pm I'm still waiting. I went the shop to let them know, loud and angry, that they needed to focus on my work. They were dinking around with who knows what. It was the only vehicle there. I told them I'd leave when they went and got Jaime, their manager. She came over and got people working. They were NOT organized or able to function without her there. Unless you have a day to spend at Sam's, and the patience of A freaking saint, find another tire store. Love that I can use the Scan and go feature. Unfortunately, if you want to check out in line.... Your going to have to wait as they aren't usually enough employees for the checkouts to be utilized. The guys in the car workshop went above and beyond helping me to find tyres for my European truck (the size, turns out, is rare in North America)...
