Horrible, two thumbs down. I went with Madden to buy my second home in AK. Both buyer and seller agents were from Madden- horrible. First- the comps were off by over $25,000 and MY realtor was just going to let me buy it! Didn’t look out for my interest at all! Just cared about making commission. Second- my realtor never answered my texts or calls! Finally I got fed up with him ignoring me and the low appraisal gave me what I needed to get out of that deal. Here in Fairbanks, I really recommend Ray Braiser at at Remax. He was on vacation when I was looking which is why I went with Madden. I will NOT be making that mistake again in the future. Terrible! Responsive, knowledgeable and happy team. No hard sell. No wild goose chances. Found just the right place and accompanied me all the way through. Efficient, thorough system with online docusigning & supportive coordination with all other parties made the purchase process easy. A joy to work with. We bought our house sight to scene and it was the best experience. There was never a moment our questions were not answered. Our realtor, Greg Baldwin and his assistant Randi, gave us the best possible options to finance our home, insure our home and be in the best area where we wanted to be. We got a beautiful, modern, new construction home with several Facetimes and pictures to satisfy us on the other end of the country in Louisiana. I wouldn't go through another realtor for any other home needs in this area. Greg negotiated an amazing contract for us with the builder. With us being first time home buyers, we definitely needed to be educated on the home buying process in Alaska and I'm happy and proud to say, we understood every step of the way thanks to Greg and his wonderful team at Wes Madden Real Estate. We just bought a house through Madden Real Estate using Greg Baldwin. I really can't say enough about what a great job he did. He found probably the most perfect house for our situation and absolutely went above and beyond. I've dealt with a local buyer's broker as well as a realtor out of North Pole who were some of the shadiest people I've ever done business with. I'd choose Madden again every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Thanks, Greg! Wes Madden Real Estate was the listing agent for the house I recently purchased. I would recommend to anyone buying a house from a Madden agent as the lister that they pay particular attenttion to all the details. One of the biggest turn-offs was that the listing agent allowed the seller to sell a filthy house. There are many other displeasures to discuss, it it's moot at this point. While my realtor (not Madden) was great, I would not do business with a Madden agent or himself again given the chance.
