A nice spot to stop at if you're curious about Alaskan native culture. I took my students here on a field trip and they loved it. The center also hosts event throughout the year that are worth a visit. This is a must stop place to visit while you are in Fairbanks. Filled with great exhibits and so much information about the history and culture of Alaska. This place was so much more wonderful than we expected it to be. Plan to spend at least 2 hours here, but you could easily spend much more time exploring the exhibits and talking with the friendly staff. It's a great place to get a snapshot of the culture, history, and life in the golden heart of Alaska. It's a must for planning a visit. Best place to visit when new to the area. So much information and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Winter or summer you will be able to gather information on any activity you are interested in exploring. Send this information you find here to friends wanting to visit Alaska! Love this place! Everyone should visit here at least once while in Fairbanks. They have an awesome museum, LOTS of great information on things to do in Alaska, a gift shop, and so much more. It's also free!
