Definitely recommend this place if you're in town during the winter. Lots of interesting ice sculptures made by folks from all over the world. Worth checking out during the day and at night. Ticket is fairly inexpensive. The ice sculptures were amazing. The warming tents weren't very warm. I would suggest having a fire pit for people to warm up with. It is a fantastic experience not be missed. Go at night! I went last year at night and decided to some back and see it in the day. Unless you go when they are making them, there is no reason to go in the daytime. But at night, it is awesome! Go on third week when all the majors are finishing their work. We went a week later and it was so hot (50s-ish) that the sculptures were melting and falling apart. While this doesn't always happen, I still think the week that everything is getting finished up is best. They have all sorts of fun things for kids too! The ice slides are very cool, just bring a sled! Kids LOVE it here!!!! Be sure to bring your sled and careful on the ice slides!!!
