I have 3 Staffordshire Terriers. They always do a great job when I bring one of my girls in, usually just for a nail trim since I normally just wash them in the tub at home, but occasionally they get a spa day! They don't stereotype on hype. Treat my girls like who they are - love bugs! They don't mind if you stay with your dog during the nail trims! Great folks! Can't imagine any place else I would trust with my girls! I would give this place between a 2 strictly for one reason.. AS I come to pick my pup up I notice in the mirror when you walk in that he was still being worked on. I didn't immediately show my face because he is very attached and I didn't want him to act up while he was getting his nails clipped. As I waited and watched I noticed that the lady who was trimming his nails was having some words with him about being dramatic with his trimming. She was very annoyed that he wasn't really cooperative, but this is your job, you should know that some dogs are not fond of certain things. If it were an easy task I would do it myself, but its not and that's why there are professionals. She was annoyed and commented that he pooped when she did his last nail trim. Before she put him back in the kennel I walked in to take him and her attitude changed really fast. It doesn't sit right with me to know that she was treating him like that, I know I didn't see anything physical but I was still uncomfortable, I don't think I would bring him back.. And it really didn't seem like he was washed, for $25 I could've just gone to Petco. I took my dog here for a bath and to get brushed out. When I picked him up he was still wet and was still shedding like they didn't even brush him out! When I pay to have my dog bathed and brushed I expect that he will be blow dried and brushed out. I have never had this happen. Even at the worst groomers I have been to the dogs came back dry after their baths. I will not be taking any of my dogs back. Save your money and wait to get into the other places in town. I guess I should have known better since they got him in so quick. Charged almost double what we were quoted and one of the worst cuts they've had. Fast though. Petco does a better job We had a great experience today at the groomers. I was a bit apprehensive, for when I called they were not super professional on the phone. The price was a little bit higher than I've paid to have our border collie groomed in the past (higher than Petco for example), but our dog was much less anxious when I collected him from this groomer than from others he's gone to. They also had him groomed in under two hours, so there was no hanging around town waiting for him to be done, or him being kenneled all day long. There were a couple of loose dogs when we arrived on the premises, but they were friendly and unconcerned with a new arrival. Despite the higher price, I will go back! Thanks!
