Excellent educational tour led by Matthew. This is a great stop for those who want to see and learn about musk ox, carboy, and reindeer. Well done UAF! Cool place, I probably never would have had the chance to see a live musk ox in my life if it weren't for this place. They sell the musk-ox wool and garments made from the wool. They also gave education speeches about reindeer and caribou and the genetic variants. You pay $10 a person to look at two pens, which may or may not have musk ox and reindeer close enough to see. You won't get to see the other fields with animals in them. Plus they're only open for 3 months of the year, and then only Wednesday through Sunday. It's basically just a place to rip off tourists. Save your money and go see the reindeer at the Santa Claus House FOR FREE. Or if you're down south in Anchorage visit the Musk Ox farm in Palmer, which will give you a better value. Prehistoric Musk Oxen& Reindeer Closed for the season, reopen in June
