Over the years I have brought my little dogs here about twice a month. I get consistently excellent grooming services... we collaborate on what type of cuts they need, as well as special attention to allergy needs. Friendly, easy to schedule, and professional grooming at reasonable prices. I highly recommend this doggie salon to all who cherish their canine children! This is the only place in town that allows me to go behind the counter and hold my dog as they do her nails. I have had really bad experiences at every other place I take her, I just hope they don't ever change that policy. Excellent customer service and they are always so accommodating! Regrettably my first experience will be my last. At first I had a nice conversation on phone and the groomer who took a few minutes to get to know me and my dog prior to me leaving my dog in her care. After 3 hours I called the groomer as my dog has never taken longer than 2.5 hours. The groomer did not answer but did shortly call me back. She let me know that my dog was still drying and that she had to cut her a bit shorter than we had discussed. I was told she would be done in one hour. One and half hours later, I called and I was told 45 more minutes. At this point my dog had been at Lucky Dog since noon and it was now 4pm. Then at 4:25 I was called and told that the employee was unable to finish my dog due to her current medical condition that has limited her ability to cut my dog properly. The groomer appeared devastated with the situation and even begged me not to post anything on the internet. After a month of looking at my dog that was shaved to the pink of her skin in the frigid negative temperatures I have decided it would be a tragedy if another dog was treated as mine was. Wonderful job on both my little dogs toenails. Neither dog was shaking or freaked out by the experience came out wagging their tails. Have been going there for a couple years. The ladies here are amazing with my dogs! They are very friendly as well. The prices are great and my dogs like it better than the other pet chain grooming store in town.
