Very bad rental agency. We made a reservation for a trailer 10 days out. We called to confirm 3 days ahead of the scheduled rental day, and again the day before. Both times we were assured that all was good. We had other equipment rented and paid for as well as hired help to do the job. When we arrived to get said trailer they had rented it the day before to someone else and they hadn't returned it. Rental Zone left us without the promised equipment to complete the job and thousands of dollars was wasted on labor and additional equipment. Don't bother with reservations and only use this company if you like to loose money and get jerked around. This company is a total failure on all fronts. Get equipment rates in writing - was underquoted over the phone. Also be aware that a daily rental only means 8 hours on the equipment meter, regardless of when they deliver or pick up. Equipment was supposed to be delivered on Sat "by noon" - showed up at 4pm. Had contractor waiting but was still able to get work done. On the plus side - equipment was fairly new and in excellent shape. Needing to rent stuff always is a hassle but all my experiences with these folks have been good. I'd rather rent from airport rentals/rental zone than from home depot. Reading reviews I see a lot of 1 star responses... Im a general contractor. Summers are busy, they always treat me right and if something breaks or happens to equipment they correct it promptly. They get my repeated service over and over. In actually about to go rent a skid steer today... I know the machine will be maintenanced I know it will have less then 1500 hours on it. I'll be in and out of store in 15 minutes.... While I don't know much about prices for rental equipment and what's a good deal vs a great deal, I do recognize stellar customer service. In fact, I don't even shop around for equipment rental anymore, since I know The Rental Zone has great customer service. It's. Busy place, but the front counter clerk was fast, helpful and knew exactly what I was talking about even if I didn't have the right question in mind. I know I will go back the next time I need equipment.
